Service

On the night in which he was betrayed, Jesus knelt down before his disciples and washed their feet. When he had finished he said, “Just as I have done, you also must do.” 

At Prairie Lutheran Parish we believe that a Christian life is a life of service. We yearn to live lives of active faith, where we are serving and loving God through the act of serving and loving our neighbors.

This takes the form of acts both small and large. We are servants in our homes, towns, schools, and workplaces. We try to live out our faith, hoping that God’s work might happen through our hands.
